Check out how our farm fresh apple cider is made at the Klackle Orchards Cider Press!Cider Mill

The Klackle Orchards' Cider Mill has the best cider in West Michigan. Our family works hard to make sure our freshly pressed cider is of the highest quality. Visiting our cider mill gives our guests a chance to see just how we make it the best in West Michigan with our apples & detailed cider-making process.

Cider should be deep, complex, both tart and sweet, and delicious. Our cider starts with a blend of apples-we like to use a mix of both tart and sweet varieties. The apples are washed and disinfected, and then sorted. The apples are then mashed, and the juice is pressed out of the mash. The cider flows from the press, through the pasteurizer where it is flash-pasteurized and then into the cooling tank. We then bottle & sell our cider in the market, and at various farmers’ markets in the greater Grand Rapids area. Our cider is very fresh, and contains no preservatives or added sugar.

Klackle Orchards presses about 2,000 gallons of cider each week, and more than 15,000 gallons over the course of the season. You can watch our cider masters in action through the windows right inside the main entrance. Make sure to try our cider at the sampling bar, you can purchase it in gallons, 1/2 gallons and quarts.
